MaskWord for X processes text, repost counts, and like counts displayed on X pages only to hide or highlight posts and messages according to the user's settings.
The extension also stores the user's hidden words, highlighted words, repost count threshold, like count threshold, and feature on/off setting in the browser's local extension storage.
This extension does not collect, transmit, sell, or share user data with external servers or third parties. All processing is performed locally in the user's browser.
This extension does not load or execute remote code. All JavaScript, HTML, CSS, localization files, and icons are included in the extension package.
The storage permission is used to save the user's settings locally in the browser. Host permissions for x.com and twitter.com are used to read visible page content and apply hiding or highlighting rules on those sites.
